MSCONFIG:- Type this into the START/RUN box and you will be able to switch off a lot of the programs that RUN at start up, save your reources being consumed by SPY programs etc.

The Print Screen Key:- we all have one but do you know what to do with it ??????

You have a screeen window open and you want to copy it, you simply press the Prt Sc key and the picture is copied to the Windows Clipboard, now it is just a simpe matter of Opening up the standard Windows Paint Program, go to the Edit menu and select Paste and hey presto there you have the Screen Picture that you wanted.

Now it is a simple matter of going to the File Menu and selecting Save As, i recomend you select JPG as the file type, this will result in a much smaller file size (more suitable for email attatchments), give it a file name etc. etc.

The standard Windows file type of BMP will leave you with an enormous file size !!!.

Jargon:- To avoid any confusion, a Folder is exactly the same as a Directory, they contain either more folders/directories and/or Files. The Root Directory/Folder is at the lowest level of the tree structure and is the C: drive itself.
