Information about Me

Hi there people, my name's Tim,

I work as a Cabinet Maker, no, not that sort of Cabinet Maker, I make the Chipboard type of cabinets, for Dental Surgeries, although there is a possibility that we will branch out into Bedrooms and Kitchens. www.tandrcabinetry.co.uk (looks familair eh !!)

My two daughters, have had many  (too many)  pets, currently we have :- 2 Rabbit, 2 Guinea Pigs, 1 Border Collie, 1 Horse and 1 Budgie !, the eldest daughter is also (literally) MAD on Horses, has been studying Equine Management at Shuttleworth College. the first pictures of the Collie are here. Younger Daughter has just started on a Course to be CHEF !

A more recent acquisition is a Domain Name for my Eldest daughter www.equinutz.net (good name eh!), browse along to this site and see a few horse pictures, the current favorite is TILLY.

Personal Interests:-

These are varied, apart from the family (of course), I have been known to Ramble and ride a push bike etc.

I started to be interested in computer's way back in the early 80's with a Sinclair Spectrum, then I progressed onto a BBC B and then BBC Master (please see links elsewhere), then I built my own 486 PC and haven't looked back since, I have upgraded this a few times since and have built and upgraded a few other computers as well.

I also had a Sinclair Z88 "lap top" computer which I found to be indispensable as I used it to type my letters during Tea Breaks at work (another Z88 picture, this one includes Sir Clive himself)   (and yet another Z88 picture a little bigger) , now i have a "proper" lap top.

Sadly my Wife doesn't share my enthusiasm for Computers, but I feel that Computers are something we cannot ignore in this day and age, they are everywhere. BUT are you getting the most out of YOURS ?.

I have now passed Level 2 and Level 3 in City and Guilds PC Maintenance and Repair to help me gain more knowledge in my favorite hobby. I have also been studying for another City and Guilds course, Computer Applications. Here I have gained valuable knowledge about MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access.
